Piecycle Pastry Ride
April Piecycle Ride - 4/26 at 2pm @ Bryn Mawr Meadows Park Playground
Join the Bryn Mawr Active Transportation Committee and Piecycle for our "season opener" bike ride. We'll meet at the playground at Bryn Mawr Meadows Park (on Morgan and Laurel) at 2:00 PM and roll out at 2:15 on Sunday, April 26th. We plan to ride to Diane’s Place in Northeast - just under 4 miles - via the newly reopened Cedar Lake Trail. We will enjoy pastries and drinks at the end of the ride. The ride is family friendly, and riders of all skills and paces are welcome.

Festival of Garage Sales
This iconic neighborhood-wide garage sale has a long history. Started in the 1970s, the festival draws people from all over the city and beyond to Bryn Mawr for over 100 garage sales, along with eating and shopping at our local stores.
Walk to Art Fair at Walker Sculpture Garden
Walk to Art Fair - Mother's Day Weekend - Saturday 5/9 at 2:00pm @ Bryn Mawr Meadows Playground
Join the Bryn Mawr Active Transportation Committee for a neighborhood walk to the Sculpture Garden Art Fair on Saturday, May 9 (rain date: Sunday, May 10.). We’ll meet at Bryn Mawr Meadows Park, by the playground, at 2:00 pm and head out at 2:10 pm for a relaxed, family-friendly walk to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden to enjoy local art, food trucks, and music.
Our route will be about ~3/4 mile from the Meadows to the Sculpture Garden. Afterwards, you're welcome to join us for happy hour or head back on your own.

Annual Meeting & Potluck Dinner
The annual meeting and potluck dinner takes place each year, as articulated in our by-laws. This is a membership business meeting where neighbors can vote for association representatives and officers, discuss neighborhood issues, hear from elected officials, and greet new and longtime neighbors.
Gardens Annual Container Planting
Join the garden committee to plant the “downtown” Bryn Mawr annual containers! Learn from experts and lend your design flare to this year’s theme. Meet at the Garden of Hope and Healing for the plan and assignments. Bring gloves, any favorite hand tools (shovels, trowels, scissors, pruners), and weather appropriate clothing.

Active Transportation Committee Monthly Meeting
📣 Calling all Bryn Mawr walkers, bikers, bus riders, and event planners! You're invited to the Bryn Mawr Active Transportation Committee's monthly meeting. It's a great chance to connect with neighbors, share ideas for improving how we get around, and help plan fun group activities. Come lend your voice! We meet the first Tuesday of every month 6:30-8PM at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church.

Racial Justice Film Series “THIS LAND: Access and Equity in Minnesota”
The Racial Justice Committee of the BMNA is happy to announce the continuation of our film series. This year the film “THIS LAND: Access and Equity in Minnesota”, a film by Eva Barr and Michelle de la Vega, has been selected for a screening by the Racial Justice Committee of the BMNA.

Paint the Pavement + Active Transit Open House
At the transportation open house, neighbors will be tabling to engage the community about new art coming to Bryn Mawr streets. The event will be held on Saturday, Feb. 21, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church (420 Cedar Lake Rd S).
Come to learn more about the community-led effort to use pavement art at key intersections, meet the artist Aza Erdrich Abe, signing party for neighbors living on proposed intersections, sign-up for painting this spring, and ask questions.

Rewrite Your Commute Without a Penn
The Penn Avenue bridge over I-394 will be completely closed for a few weeks starting in February. Join your neighbors as we workshop alternative ways to get in and out of Bryn Mawr without the bridge. More details TBA

Saturnalia
An afternoon celebration of winter, this downtown Bryn Mawr street festival features hay wagon rides, drum corps dancing, and roasting marshmallows over open fire pits. After all the outdoor festivities, enjoy an evening dance at the local coffee shop
